How to Choose a Peptide Calculator
You can compare tools without juggling five open tabs. This guide on how to choose a peptide calculator covers six checks. Look for the math, units with mL, account need, data location, money notes, and an accessibility statement.
Six questions to ask any calculator
As of Oct 12, 2026, the pages we read gave enough detail for six plain checks across tools. They covered the math display, units with mL, account need, data location, money notes, and an accessibility statement. Keep it simple: copy each answer from the page, or write "not stated on the page."
One label detail matters here. ADA: Overview of Insulin Concentration for School Nurses (opens in a new tab) from August 2022 says U-100 insulin has 100 units in 1 mL, and the syringe must match the vial concentration. In your notes, write the concentration exactly as printed on your own label.

Arithmetic check on 2026-10-12
We typed the same inputs into five public calculators and compared each result with exact arithmetic. Each line below says what a tool showed on that day. Pages change, so read them as dated statements.
- On 2026-10-12, with inputs vial 10 mg, liquid 2 mL, amount 500 mcg and a 0.5 mL (50-unit) syringe, peptidecalcu.com showed 5 units and 0.100 mL; on a U-100 syringe, 0.1 mL is 10 units.
- On 2026-10-12, with inputs vial 2 mg, liquid 1 mL, amount 100 mcg and a 0.3 mL (30-unit) syringe, peptidecalcu.com showed 1.5 units and 0.050 mL; on a U-100 syringe, 0.05 mL is 5 units.
- On 2026-10-12, across 20 test cases, peptidecalcu.com showed units that differ from the exact value in 14 cases; with a 0.3 mL syringe the units shown equal mL times 30 and with a 0.5 mL syringe mL times 50; on a U-100 syringe, units equal mL times 100.
- On 2026-10-12, with inputs vial 5 mg, liquid 3 mL, amount 2.5 mg and a 1 mL syringe, peptidecalcu.com showed 1.500 mL at the 150 unit mark, drawn past the 100 mark, with no message; on a U-100 1 mL syringe the barrel holds 100 units, and PeptideCalc.io, Project Biohacking, peptides-calculator.net and Omni Calculator each showed a capacity message for the same inputs.
- On 2026-10-12, in 3 test cases where the exact result is under 1 unit (for example vial 30 mg, liquid 1 mL, amount 100 mcg, 0.3 mL syringe, exactly 1/3 of a unit), PeptideCalc.io showed 0.333333 units with a message about the 1-unit tick spacing in 3 of 3 cases; Project Biohacking, peptides-calculator.net, peptidecalcu.com and Omni Calculator showed no message in 0 of 3.
- On 2026-10-12, with inputs vial 30 mg, liquid 1 mL, amount 1 mcg and a 1 mL syringe (exactly 0.003333 units on a U-100 syringe), PeptideCalc.io showed 0.003333 units, while Project Biohacking showed 0.0 units, peptides-calculator.net 0 units, peptidecalcu.com the 0 unit mark and Omni Calculator 0 units, each with no message.
- On 2026-10-12, with inputs vial 5 mg, liquid 2 mL and amount -250 mcg, peptides-calculator.net showed -10 units and -0.100 mL with no message, while PeptideCalc.io, Project Biohacking and peptidecalcu.com showed no result; with +250 mcg the same inputs give 0.1 mL, which is 10 units on a U-100 syringe.
- On 2026-10-12, with inputs vial 5 mg, liquid 0 mL, amount 250 mcg and a 1 mL syringe, Omni Calculator showed 0 units and 0 mL, while PeptideCalc.io, Project Biohacking and peptidecalcu.com showed no result and peptides-calculator.net showed dashes; mg per mL cannot be computed from 0 mL of liquid.
What we did not compare
As of Oct 12, 2026, this page checks only the inputs named above. It does not cover anyone's arithmetic or other features. We also cannot see inside other apps, so the table stays with what each page says and the dated arithmetic check shown below it.
Where we are the same or behind
As of Oct 12, 2026, side effect logs are not unique here. Other pages list them too, and this site also has a draft GLP-1 tracker and a peptide tracker.
Some things were elsewhere on that date. Another page lists iPhone and iPad apps and widgets. This site has no native app or widget, push reminders need Pro, and the reconstitution calculator stays on the web.
How we check, and when
We read each tool's own page, wrote the date next to each statement, and kept a dated copy outside the site. A phone propped against a mug is enough for the reading part.
As of Oct 12, 2026, statements from other tools are attributed to the page itself. The reads came through WebFetch and were not yet confirmed by a person. For your notes, keep the read date with the claim, check the changelog for updates here, and re-check tools when their pages change.
If you want to use the tools instead of comparing them, try the Try the reconstitution calculator or Open the free log.
Read this first. Facts come from each tool's own page as read on the date shown and can change. This is not a review and not a ranking. Math based on your entries. Not medical advice. 18+.
